. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Suriname, with residence in Brasilia, H.E. Elkhan Polukhov presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Suriname, H.E. Desire Delano Bouterse.
During the meeting, President Bouterse conveyed his warm greetings to the leadership and the people of Azerbaijan, saying that there are great opportunities for the development of relations between the two countries in each field, and wished successes to Ambassador Elkhan Polukhov.
In return, E. Polukhov delivered President Ilham Aliyev's conveyance of greetings to His Suriname’s counterpart, and he expressed his satisfaction to be an Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Suriname, and will do his best for further expansion and deepening of relations between the two countries.
Then the ambassador gave detailed information about Azerbaijan to the President of Suriname and discussed bilateral relations.
